Find out how to serve your community, develop leadership skills, and advance your career by becoming a member of a board. Boards are an important part of our community. The boards of many non-profits, charities, government agencies, and municipal committees make important decisions that are strategic and significant about services provided locally, provincially, and nationally. Members of boards make decisions on behalf of stakeholders, constituents, and members.

BPW Hastings and Prince Edward is bringing together four local women with board service experience to share their journey and offer guidance on how you can become a leader in your community by serving on a board.

Get answers to your questions such as:
– How do you get on a board?
– What kind of a commitment does board service provide?
– What organizations are run by boards?
– What experience do I need to serve on a board
