Hear from Belleville Fire Chief Monique Belair. She has been instrumental in helping young womenlearn what it’s like to become a firefighter. Monique has more than 3 decades of experience in fire services and the field of emergency management. She started her firefighting career as one of just a handful of female firefighters with the Canadian Armed Forces. She is now the Director of Fire and Emergency Services for the City of Belleville, Ontario. Monique is a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion, serving on many boards and committees to help influence change to create more inclusive organizations.
